Allow me to introduce myself
I have been practicing in the field of behavioral health for over 10 years, providing counseling services since 2013, and working with several different populations and diagnosis throughout that time. I have the longest experience working with adults who have serious mental illness, this is where I developed my love of helping people in all walks of life heal through their trauma. I have worked for several years with adults who have symptoms of bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, anger, anxiety, greif, PTSD, adult children of narcissistic parents, and many others.
My approach to therapy is through a trauma informed lense. When you work with me I will use a person centered approach, showing each individual the utmost respect, unconditional positive regard, and empathetic support to help you reach your goals, explore your values, and create a life worth living. I tend to have a very eclectic approach to therapy, however, I am EMDR trained and tend to use several Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques.
